Bowler Transmission Tunnel T56 into '67-'69 Chevy Camaro | T56 & TR6060 transmissions are big! When retrofitting a TR6060, a T56 Magnum, or a T56 from a ’98 – ’02 F-Body (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am) into a 1st gen F-Body the transmission tunnel is too small to fit the transmission when it is installed at the proper driveline angle. When you are upgrading your 1967-1969 Camaro to a Tremec T-56 Magnum you are going to need to modify the transmission tunnel to get the proper drive line angle set. We have taken the hard work out of the installation by producing a quality sheet metal transmission tunnel replacement that has the factory reinforcement ribs and has the proper increased height to install the 6-speed T-56 Magnum transmission. This is a weld in tunnel patch. Photos of a customer-installed tunnel are provided for reference.
