Our integrated clutch and brake pedal assembly is the key to getting a manual transmission up and running in your 1977 – 1990 GM B-Body.

Our pedal assembly is a direct replacement for your stock brake pedal and is compatible with all hydraulic clutch systems as well as all transmissions that use a hydraulic setup.

Each pedal assembly comes fully assembled and ready to install and includes:

Clutch and brake pedals are spaced apart just under 5″ center-to-center, same as the current Chevy Camaro. Your factory brake master cylinder pushrod hooks up to our brake pedal arm in the exact same location as stock.  We offer compatibility with both power and manual brakes.

Our clutch pedal is designed for hydraulic clutch systems and is compatible with just about any manual transmission.  Whether you’re running the stock engine or an LS engine our pedals will work great. So you’re installing an LS or Gen V LT engine in your ’77 – ’96 GM B-Body – are you ready to breathe some fire?  Our new headers are the only stainless steel long tubes designed to fit these cars perfectly – while keeping your new engine right where the old one was, and with zero frame cutting or shaving needed.

Key features:

  • Three goals, and we nailed them:
    • Maintain optimal weight distribution by not moving the LS/LT engine block, relative to stock
    • Provide serious exhaust flow for serious horsepower
    • Zero frame cutting or shaving
  • 321 Stainless Steel construction – like 304SS, but better!  304SS, aka “18/8”, is alloyed with 18% chromium and 8% nickel.  321SS is like 304SS but is then further alloyed with titanium, giving it superior strength; specific benefits for your headers:
    • Increased resistance to material fatigue and thermal cracking – key for high heat environments
    • Allows for thinner wall, lighter weight construction – without compromise
  • 1-7/8″ long tube primaries merged into 3″ collector.  For you decimal types, that’s 1.875″ diameter, with 0.049” tube sidewall thickness.  For you metric types – no can do on this product, you’re on your own.
  • Investment cast elbows give you the tightest bend, allowing us to tuck the headers in tight to the block, which helps keep them away from things like your steering shaft, brake lines, frame, etc.
  • Investment cast flanges are super strong and lightweight, and they’re good  looking – when was the last time you said that about a header flange?
  • Oxygen sensor bungs are included – each header includes one bung welded in place
  • Zero cutting or shaving your frame required for fitment – REQUIRES use of either the KDS or Dirty Dingo motor mounts
  • Transmission and Driveshaft:  By not moving your LS / LT engine relative to your old engine, you can re-use your original transmission, transmission crossmember, and driveshaft.
  • Collector flange options: Sold separately – Extreme Low Profile Clamps, Investment cast 3 bolt 3″ outer diameter flange
  • Engine options:  Pricing shown is for LS engines.  Add $100 for the Gen V LT flange.
  • Header finish options:

  • What’s included:  ARP (Automotive Racing Products) 12-point 300 grade stainless steel bolts and washers and Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Stainless) header gaskets

We partnered with Ultimate Headers to create the best headers for the B-Bodies.  Ultimate Headers created an investment cast elbow out of 321SS and with an incredibly tight 1.25″ center line radius (CLR)  Ordinary tube bending processes generally cannot have a CLR less than the diameter of the tube itself, in this case 1.875″.  Casting is the only feasible method to produce this type of bend, and offers the further benefit of consistent wall thickness.  In contrast, bent tubing is by definition deformed – the outer edge is stretched the most, which inherently thins and weakens the tubing.

T56 & TR6060 transmissions are big!  When retrofitting a TR6060, a T56 Magnum, or a T56 from a ’98 – ’02 F-Body (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am) into a 1st gen F-Body the transmission tunnel is too small to fit the transmission when it is installed at the proper driveline angle.

When you are upgrading your 1967-1969 Camaro to a Tremec T-56 Magnum you are going to need to modify the transmission tunnel to get the proper drive line angle set. We have taken the hard work out of the installation by producing a quality sheet metal transmission tunnel replacement that has the factory reinforcement ribs and has the proper increased height to install the 6-speed T-56 Magnum transmission.

This is a weld in tunnel patch.

Photos of a customer-installed tunnel are provided for reference.  As this will require fabrication, there are many ways to finish the details with this tunnel.

T56, TR6060, and 4L80 transmissions are big!  When retrofitting a modern overdrive transmission into an older car it’s common to have to enlarge the transmission tunnel.  This preformed tunnel patch gives you a head start in making enough room.

This is a weld in tunnel patch.  This is commonly used in Novas, Chevelles, Camaros and many Mopars with a T56 Magnum or 4L80E being used. We have had customers use them in many different applications and with several transmission configurations. This is general sheet metal raised tunnel and is not specific to a car, it will require some fabricating skill and is to be fully welded in place. There are no instructions for this part.

Photos of a customer-installed tunnel are provided for reference.  As this will require fabrication, there are many ways to finish the details with this tunnel.

Some customers have reported that with slight interference instances, they have been able to gently lift the floor pan with the assist of a floor jack and a wood cushion, thus providing the required clearance for installation.

  • Crossmember is installed with transmission mounting tab positioned towards front of car, and exhaust double humps are on the top, next to floor pan.
  • The supplied aluminum spacers are to provide custom height positioning of your transmission mount. (if you need them) They are positioned between the crossmember and your GM 3 hole transmission mount. Select desired amount of spacers needed and use longer bolts to insure full engagement into transmission mount. Some applications will not require any spacers.
  • Some vehicles of this generation are equipped with a crossmember that bolts directly to the vehicles frame rail, while others are equipped with crossmembers that utilize tabs that set on the frame rails, embedded with a rubber liner. Our #RCAE crossmember bolts directly to the frame rails to the factory frame holes. ( Do Not Use The Rubber Pads ! ) utilize the provided 7/16″ hardware and enlarge holes in your frame rails with a 1/2″ drill-bit. If you stay with the stock size 3/8″ hardware, it is strongly recommended to use new Grade #8 fasteners to compensate.

Installation notes:

This crossmember is installed with the GForce label facing the REAR of the vehicle. A second determining feature is the crossmember center tube section has a 1/2″ in. drain hole located on the BOTTOM and should be on the PASSENGER side next to the exhaust hump weldment.
The crossmember is installed so that the exhaust humps are towards the floor of car and open to bottom. The Exhaust runs under the crossmember.
To utilize the new provided 7/16″ in. mounting hardware, it is necessary to enlarge the OEM holes in the frame. If installer chooses to utilize the stock size 3/8″ in. hardware, it is STRONGLY recommended that installer obtains Grade#8 high-strength fasteners & washers to compensate.

For all you Classic B-Body Builders, GForce has designed a direct bolt-in transmission crossmember to accommodate your 2004R or TH400 short tail transmissions, as well as your 700R4 that has the tailshaft transmission mount. One crossmember, both transmissions! This is accommodated by a second set of mounting holes on the crossmember to allow positioning the crossmember in the two different locations. And this is accomplished while still using the factory crossmember mounting locations. No drilling, cutting, grinding, or welding! Simple and complete instructions are included, along with new mounting hardware. Purchase your polyurethane transmission mount separately part number GMTM. Utilizes early GM double stud pattern on 1 1/2″ centers.

This crossmember utilizes the same patented G Force design that has made us the stand alone leader in high performance transmission crossmembers. The large exhaust clearance humps facilitate large diameter exhaust systems, and allow you to tuck it up tight for your slammed and ground hugging build. Buy yours today!

Important Note: When considering the popular 700R4, there are two basic transmission mount locations. One version utilizes a transmission mount directly behind the transmission pan on the transmission case. With the other version the transmission mount is located further reward and bolts to the tailshaft housing. It is crucial that you properly determine which mount location your 700R4 has. This RCB3-400 is designed to accommodate the longer tailshaft mount. If you have the shorter case mount transmission, you will need to purchase our RCB3-700 crossmember.

This brackets fits under the nuts that retain the brake master cylinder to the brake booster.  Simply remove the nuts, slide our bracket in place, and reinstall and tighten the nuts.  No drilling or cutting.

Transmission Mount Angle Shims – fits Most GM RWD Applications

Transmission mount shims are useful for tuning drive train and drive shaft angles. These shims are 1-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ in size, 1/8″ thick, and made from aluminum. This set of 4 individual shims allow adjustments from 1/8″ to 1/2″. These shims are designed to work with the late model gm style single centered stud mounts, or the early model gm style dual stud mount with 1-1/2″ between hole centers. The base dimensions of 1-1/4″ x 2-3/4″ provide a solid contact between the transmission mount and the transmission crossmember. Attempts to use a standard flat washer as a shim will never provide the same contact or rigidity which these precision shims accomplish.

  • Includes premium corrosion and heat-resistant ARP (Automotive Racing Products) 12-point, 300 grade stainless steel bolts and washers
  • Large 1-7/8” 321 Stainless Steel header tubes merged into 3″ collector
  • Header tubes are mounted high and tight, makes a very compact, space efficient package
  • Package includes everything needed for the installation — headers, ARP 12-point Stainless Steel bolts & washers and Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Stainless) header
  • 321 Stainless Steel construction – like 304SS, but better!  304SS, aka “18/8”, is alloyed with 18% chromium and 8% nickel.  321SS is like 304SS but is then further alloyed with titanium, giving it superior strength; specific benefits for your headers:
    • Increased resistance to material fatigue and thermal cracking – key for high heat environments
    • Allows for thinner wall, lighter weight construction – without compromise
  • Investment cast elbows give you the tightest bend, allowing us to tuck the headers in tight to the block, which helps keep them away from things like your steering shaft, brake lines, frame, etc.
  • Investment cast flanges are super strong and lightweight, and they’re good  looking – when was the last time you said that about a header flange?
  • Collector flange options: Sold separately – Extreme Low Profile Clamps – if you order with your headers we offer to TIG weld the header clamp flange to your headers prior to shipping
