Our integrated clutch and brake pedal assembly is the key to getting a manual transmission up and running in your 1978 – 1988 GM G-Body.  If you’re looking for our Boxy B-Body pedals click here.

Out of stock – Reserve your pedals with a $100 deposit.  Pedals are expected to ship by December 2023.  In the meantime we are taking $100 deposits on pedals, and once our delivery date firms up, we will request the remaining amount due two weeks prior to delivery.

We’re big on ergonomics – the pedals are right where your feet are expecting them, and the brake pedal location is optimized for heel-and-toe downshifting.  After driving a 1996 Chevy Impala SS with our 6 speed manual conversion package, AutoWeek Magazine wrote:

Our pedal assembly is a direct replacement for your stock brake pedal and is compatible with all hydraulic clutch systems as well as all transmissions that use a hydraulic setup.

Each pedal assembly comes fully assembled and ready to install and includes:

  • Billet aluminum mounting bracket, black anodized
  • Chromoly steel brake pedal arm
  • Chromoly steel clutch pedal arm
  • Rubber pedal covers for brake and clutch pedals, OEM 2010 – 2015 Chevy Camaro
  • Heavy duty Oilite flanged bushings for each pedal arm
  • Oilite sleeves at all points where shoulder bolts pass through aluminum
  • Acetal Resin spacers for quiet, smooth, no-rock pedal arm operation
  • Steel shoulder bolts, Grade 8 strength
  • Rubber firewall seal and stainless steel hardware
  • Firewall drilling template
  • Pedal installation hardware: Class 10.9 / Grade 8 strength or stronger

Clutch and brake pedals are spaced apart just under 5″ center-to-center, same as the current Chevy Camaro. Your factory brake master cylinder pushrod hooks up to our brake pedal arm in the exact same location as stock.  We offer compatibility with both power and manual brakes.

Our clutch pedal is designed for hydraulic clutch systems and is compatible with just about any manual transmission.  Whether you’re running the stock engine or an LS engine our pedals will work great. We use the Tilton 78-Series master cylinders, available in seven different bore sizes.  Contact us for help in selecting the perfect match for your setup.

Our pedal assembly includes two electrical sensor brackets (brake lights and neutral safety switch).  If you have cruise control, we offer additional sensor brackets to add two cruise control interrupt switches, one on each pedal arm.  Our sensor brackets are designed for use with OEM GM switches, which we offer separately if not already wired up in your car.  Additional details on compatible sensors:

  1. Brake lights – bracket included with our pedals, reuse stock wiring
  2. Neutral safety switch, preventing the car from starting unless the clutch pedal is depressed – bracket included with our pedals, sensor and wiring harness sold separately
  3. Cruise control interrupt, based on brake pedal application – optional bracket, reuse stock wiring

To install our pedals you’ll need to drill several holes in your firewall (7/64″ and 7/8″), and we include a cutting template to make marking the hole centers as easy as possible.

Mechanical clutch release setups are not compatible with our pedals.

Holley’s popular cast aluminum oil pan (P/N 302–2) designed to retro–fit LS engines into trucks, muscle cars, and more, has just been brought to the next level. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That’s where the 302–11 oil pan baffle comes in. This oil pan baffle kit is designed to maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pick–up during vehicle accelerations, both lateral and linear. The baffle maintains the oil at the oil pump pick–up preventing loss of engine oil pressure during maximum cornering in a high–performance touring or road–racing, as well as under hard acceleration in drag racing vehicles.
The baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG welded joints. Directionally positioned one–way trap doors allow oil flow towards the oil pump pick–up but not away. This baffle is designed to be used in the Holley P/N 302–2 LS Swap oil pan with the standard pickup, and is a drop–in replacement for the standard tray baffle.

Distance between the Oil Pickup and the bottom of the pan is 0.378 Inch.

If you’ve got a ’78 – ’88 GM A/G-Body that came with the 7-5/8″ ring gear rear axle, you probably know that axle is weak and will likely not last long as you upgrade power, or as you race more frequently.  The Quick Performance rear axle can handle big horsepower as well as the rigors of racing.

T56 Magnum Billet Aluminum Low Profile Shifter and Cover Package with 1-3/4" Offset

Our exclusive low profile billet aluminum shifter and mid case cover for the Tremec T56 Magnum transmission reduces the height of your T56 Magnum at a critical place – right where the floorpan on many classic cars interferes with the transmission.  As compared to the shifter supplied and mid case cover with the transmission, our parts give you an extra 0.6″ of clearance – that’s right, more than 1/2″.  You can now squeeze your T56 into more places without doing extensive sheetmetal clearancing.

We CNC machine the billet aluminum pieces in-house and your shifter comes fully assembled with a Driveline Components short throw shifter.  This particular SKU includes a shifter with a 1-3/4″ offset, meaning the shift lever can be moved forward or backwards as compared to the stock shifter location.

We use this cover and shifter setup in the Car Craft Malibu.  We also use this cover and shifter setup in 1996 Impalas as this allows us to retain the factory sheetmetal front console mounting bracket; without this low profile cover and shifter shifter, that sheetmetal bracket must modified in order to keep it out of the way of the transmission.

Installation for both parts is included, as is RTV silicone to seal the parts to the transmission case.  Shift lever is sold separately.

We offer custom shift lever offsets, moving up to 4″ forward or backwards, and up to 2″ to either side.  Please contact us for a custom offset.

Our billet aluminum shift knob for the T56 and TR6060 puts control in your hands.  With its 2-1/4″ diameter it’s larger than many others and provides a substantial feel.

This knob is black anodized.  The engraved shift pattern and logos are bare aluminum.

Shift pattern is for all T56 and TR6060 transmissions including Camaro, Corvette, Viper, Mustang, and more.

M16x1.5 threads.  The most popular adapters are sell are to 3/8″-16 threads and M12x1.5 threads.  Please contact us for help selecting the correct adapter.

Our exclusive low profile billet aluminum mid case cover reduces the height of your T56 Magnum at a critical place – right where the floorpan on many classic cars interferes with the transmission.  As compared to the mid case cover that comes with the transmission, our cover gives you an extra 1/4″ of clearance.  When paired with our low profile shifter (sold separately), you can an extra 0.6″ of clearance – that’s right, more than 1/2″ overall.  With our parts you can now squeeze your T56 into more places without doing extensive sheetmetal clearancing.

We CNC machine this billet aluminum cover in-house.  Installation hardware is included and the cover installs using RTV silicone sealer, available separately.

We use this cover and shifter setup in the Car Craft Malibu.  We also use this cover and shifter setup in 1996 Impalas as this allows us to retain the factory sheetmetal front console mounting bracket; without the low profile cover and shifter, that sheetmetal bracket must modified in order to keep it out of the way of the transmission.

We CNC machine the billet aluminum plate in-house and your shifter comes fully assembled with a Driveline Components short throw shifter.  This particular SKU includes a shifter with a 1-3/4″ offset, meaning the shift lever can be moved forward or backwards as compared to the stock shifter location.

Our transmission fluid cooler package makes it easy to add a fluid pump and cooler to your T56 Magnum transmission and existing radiator transmission cooling circuit.

Keeping your transmission cool is critical when racing.  Additionally, the pump helps to keep fluid flowing to the bearings at the front of the transmission – under extreme driving these bearings can be oil-starved as fluid sloshes around.

This package is for use with an OEM radiator transmission cooling circuit, as found on most cars with an automatic transmission, with 3/8″ tubing with inverted flare fittings at the radiator.

3/4″ Bore

The 78-Series master cylinder is made from billet aluminum and the whole assembly is stout.  Compared to master cylinders with a pivoting pushrod, this thing is built like a tank!  That’s why we use it in our new G-Body pedals and our ’91-’96 B-Body pedals.

Fittings you’ll find helpful:

  • 5/16″ hose input fitting for low pressure side
  • -3AN to -3AN coupler, steel, for high pressure side
  • -3AN to -4AN coupler, steel, for high pressure side

78-Series master cylinders offer the latest in racing master cylinder technology in a very lightweight and compact design. The rear spherical bearing mount and one-piece piston/pushrod eliminate side thrust into the master cylinder bore, providing consistent and repeatable braking.
