Tin Man’s transmission cross member for the 1964-1972 GM A Body utilize all the factory mount holes. This cross member will virtually bolt any GM transmission into your A-Body chassis.
Fits many transmissions, auto and manual!
700R4, 4L60, and 4L65E
No modification is necessary to the transmission tunnel for a simple installation on 700R4, 4L60 and 4L65E transmissions while positioning the engine and transmission for correct driveline angles and best exhaust and firewall/radiator clearance.
TKO, T56, 4L80, 6L90 and 8L90
TKO, T56, 4L80, 6L90 and 8L90 transmissions will require tunnel modification to maintain correct drive line angles. Incorrect drive line angles can cause premature wear as well as drive line noise and possible catastrophic failure. Tin Man’s trans tunnel panel will make this much easier while maintaining the factory console.
