Behind the scenes, but still important—McLeod’s 1400 Series hydraulic throwout bearings play a special role in the optimal performance of your vehicle. Their most versatile choice to fit most applications, the 1400 bearings slip right over the front collar of your transmission. They’re self-adjusting, meaning that you’ll never have to adjust them as your clutch wears—and they can be set for the proper mounting clearance needed.

The bearings are made of the finest hard-anodized billet aluminum, and equipped with quality elbow swivel fittings and high-pressure stainless steel lines for extreme durability. What happens backstage is just as crucial as what happens out front to bring about a rousing performance. You can’t see McLeod 1400 Series throwout bearings as they work, but the part they play is vital to optimize the performance of your mean street or strip vehicle.

McLeod 500 Series 11″ Clutch Disc 1-1/8″ x 26 – Organic/Ceramic

Counter weight kits are the perfect solution for a externally balanced engine running a performance McLeod flywheel. They have two drilled and countersunk holes and are supplied with Qty (2) 5/16-18 X 1/2″ (For steel flywheels) and (2) 5/16-18 X 3/4″ (For aluminum flywheels) tapered head socket screws to bolt right up to your McLeod Racing flywheel. This kit will come with all the supplied weights for the various engine combinations to do the job right.

McLeod hydraulic release bearings are made of the finest hard anodized billet aluminum. They are built swivel fittings, stainless steel lines and a bleeder for easier installation.

Ideal for cars that have aging mechanical linkage or need extra space due to a motor swap or other changes, a McLeod Direct Fit Hydraulic Kit is designed with the very best components for ease of install and great life. An additional benefit when installing this McLeod hydraulic kit is the self-adjusting bearing feature. No more adjusting the clutch every 4 – 6 months. This kit was designed to work with 1963-1972 Chevelle manual pedal box assemblies only.  If you’re running a different GM A-Body model, we can get you setup if you’re going to a hydraulic clutch at the same time.  Please contact us to confirm fitment.

This McLeod steel flywheel is perfect for fitting an LS T56, like the Tremec T56 Magnum, to a small block Chevy engine with a 2 piece rear main seal (1955-1985) and all big block Chevy engines.

McLeod steel flywheels are perfect for street applications where easy stop light acceleration is desired. They are also recommended for rock crawlers and off road driving. Our steel flywheels are CNC machined from billet alloy steel. They have 1045 hardened steel ring gears.

This clutch is single disc with organic friction material.  Fits small block Chevy engines (as well as others) and transmissions with a 1-1/8″ 26 spine input shaft.  11″ diameter, requires 168 tooth flywheel.
