1998-2002 Camaro / Firebird with T-56 Transmission, 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO
Clutch slave cylinder for LS1 & LS6 F-Body (1998-2002 Camaro and Firebird) vehicles. It is highly recommended that the clutch slave cylinder be replaced any time the clutch is replaced. Clutch slave cylinder can also be used for 2004-2006 GTO. (You must swap the original fittings from your stock slave cylinder to this unit.)
The quick connect fitting is easy to connect to a high pressure hose. For -4AN choose Earl’s LS0024ERL.
For bleeding the hydraulic line we very much recommend a remote bleeder kit, and Earl’s PK0008ERL makes the perfect combo.
We always recommend checking bearing clearance before installing your transmission. Generally an initial gap between 1/8″ and 3/16″ works well. If you have too large a gap you can shim your bearing to reduce the gap. Shims are available in three thicknesses – click here.
