1967-69 GM F-body/1968-74 X body LS/LT Swap Transmission Crossmember for Tremec T56 and T56 Magnum 6 Speed Manual Transmissions
Use with Hooker BlackHeart LS Swap Engine Adapters
Features:
- Facilitates installation of a T56/T56 Magnum manual transmission behind an LS engine in any year 1st-gen F-body & X-body
- Designed utilizing CAD modeling/FEA analysis for optimal fitment, strength, weight, safety and appearance
- High-strength low-alloy steel construction
- Provides a engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining suitable U-joint working angles, when installed with Hooker 1st-gen F-Body & X-body LS engine swap brackets
- Designed in conjunction with Hooker 1st-gen F-body & X-body LS/LT engine swap brackets to provide bolt-in installation of Hooker LS swap manifolds, headers and exhaust systems for this application
- Installation requires use of a Prothane 7-1604 poly transmission mount
- Provides the highest clearance available for up to 3″ exhaust system routing
Notes:
This Hooker Blackheart product has been designed only for use on vehicles which are equipped with a stock front subframe and stock steering and suspension components. It is not compatible with any Hooker Blackheart product that has been designed specifically for use with Detroit Speed products.
Integral component of the complete Hooker swap system for this application. Component features unique geometry that is not compatible for use with any other brand of engine mounting components.
*NOT COMPATIBLE WITH TREMEC TR6060 TRANSMISSIONS.
