Hooker T56 Adapter for 1988-2000 C1500 Trucks | 1988-2000 Chevrolet C1500 LS/LT Swap Transmission Adapter Bracket – T-56 or T-56 Magnum Hooker BlackHeart has quickly become the leader in LS and LT engine swaps and we are excited to announce new products for 1988-2000 GM C1500 Trucks/SUVs (GMT400 or “OBS”). This transmission crossmember adapter is designed to allow the use of a Tremec T-56 or T-56 Magnum transmission along with Hooker BlackHeart Engine Swap Mount Brackets (choose between P/N: BHS552 (LS), BHS553 (LT), or deluxe brackets BHS554 (LS/LT rear-biased position). Utilizing the factory 1988-2000 C1500 700RW/4L60/4L60E transmission crossmember, driveshaft, and engine isolator mounts will complete the list of items that will result in a trouble-free install. Of course, don’t forget Hooker Blackheart 71223029HKR (black) or 71223030HKR (red) transmission mounts as well to replace a tired factory piece.
