If you’re not using the reverse lockout feature on your T56, our cover plate will cover the opening in your transmission, which simplifies installation as the reverse lockout solenoid frequently interferes with the transmission tunnel.
Fits the Tremec T56, T56 Magnum, and TR6060 line of 6 speed manual transmissions.
The plate is unpainted and we recommend painting it prior to installation.
Includes metric bolt to retain to transmission case.
To install, clean both mating surfaces and put a bead of RTV sealer around the opening, making a complete circle with the RTV. Tighten the included bolt to 18 ft/lb.
