Fits GM 8.5″ and 8.6″ 10 Bolt Rear Axles.
This rear axle is found in the 1994 – 1996 Chevy Impala SS and many half-ton Chevy and GMC trucks.
The factory differential in these cars and trucks is a clutch plate design and applies power to both wheels only when going in a straight line, not around turns. The Truetrac applies power to both wheels in a straight line of course and also when going around turns, allowing you to put more power down, sooner.
