Dirty Dingo Double-D 1958 - 1972 GM Aluminum LS Adapter Plates | Billet Aluminum Dirty Dingo Motorsports “Double-D” LS engine adapter plates are CNC machined from 1/2″ thick 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum on a precision vertical CNC milling center. These mounts are completely machined on both sides to 3/8″ thick and are designed as a true “bolt in” adapter plate for installing the 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engine into 1958-72 GM cars and 2WD GM Trucks, and 1962 to 1991 Corvettes(Corvette 1958 to 1961 will require a frame stand to use a GM three bolt mount). These conversion plates will place your LS engine in the correct position when swapping from a small or big block Chevrolet engine to a LS series engine and have four different motor mount placement positions. The first set of holes position the LS engine in the original bell housing position, then 11/16″ forward, then 1 11/16″ forward, and the last set position the LS engine 2 1/4 inches forward from the original bell housing position. These are the most common engine positions for the major header manufacturers. No other conversion plates on the market are designed like these. Dirty Dingo Glider Gen V LT Adjustable Conversion Swap Mounts | Dirty Dingo Adjustable LT Gen V conversion swap mounts. Designed to place the Gen V LT engine in the original bell housing position and slide forward up to 2 inches and lock the engine down anywhere in between. Bottom plates and spacer plates are CNC machined from 1/2″ thick 6061-T6 aircraft billet aluminum on a precision vertical CNC milling center. These brackets are completely CNC machined on both sides. Top plates are CNC laser cut from .250 thick Grade 70 cold roll plate steel. Designed to be used with original Chevrolet/GM 3 bolt big and small block Chevrolet engine mounts. * Will not clear low mount ac or low mount alternators. Dirty Dingo Slider 1958-72 SBC or BBC to LS Conversion Engine Mounts | Dirty Dingo Motorsports is the leading manufacturer in GM LS conversion engine mounts for Chevrolet and GMC trucks and muscle cars from 1958-1972, and Corvette up to 1991. These Patented Design motor mounts are used when installing the 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engine into older GM muscle cars, trucks and any application that uses a standard three bolt factory style engine mount from 1958 to 1972, and 1962 to 1982 Corvette(Corvette 1958 to 1961 will require a frame stand to use a GM three bolt mount) . Dingo Sliders give up to 2” of adjustment, and positions the LS engine ¼” higher than other adapter plates. You can use your factory rubber engine mount, any aftermarket urethane or solid engine mounts, any 3 bolt mount that bolts to the engine. These mounts will also work if you have a clam shell on the block and the engine mount on the frame. Simply bolt your clam shell to the outer plate and install. Precision CNC laser cut from .250 high carbon plate steel. Dingo Sliders will allow you to mount the engine in the original bell housing position, or move the engine forward up to 2 inches. May require using aftermarket oil pan. Grade-8 hardware included. Solid mount in picture is not included.
