Imperfections in this console: Depression behind boot

Our console insert provides a factory-like appearance to finish off the interior of your Impala SS with a manual transmission. A leather shift boot is included.

To install, simply remove the trim around the console and remove the automatic shifter surround.

There is some minor trimming of your console to be done, underneath the auto shifter surround, following our instructions. Our insert fits perfectly, and replacing the trim secures it in place.

The shift boot opening is designed to fit an LT1 T56 from a ’94 – ’97 F-Body. If you have a T56 Magnum we sell a shift lever relocation spacer that moves your lever back to work perfectly with our insert.
