Metco GM B-Body Rear Lower and Upper Control Arms +3/4" Length | Impala SS and Caprice extended length upper and lower control arm set to center the rear wheels in the wheel wells. Requires a driveshaft that is lengthened 3/4″, and Inland Empire Driveline Services makes the perfect 3.5″ OD aluminum driveshaft for this application. Upper control arms offer adjustable pinion angle and are preset and ready to install for typical street applications. Those who drag race can dial in their pinion angle, and for those who don’t drag race, you’ll appreciate the stronger construction and fresh bushings over the stock arms. Install photos are on a ’96 Impala in our shop, along with QA1 coilovers. Coilovers are not required, these arms are compatible with stock suspension as well as coilovers. QA1 '78-'88 G-Body Rear Control Arm Brace | Tubular braces work with GM A-Body and G-Body trailing arms to reinforce the rear trailing arm mounts for major improvements in traction with less wheel-hop and more power to the ground. Includes all necessary hardware for installation and are sold in pairs. | Rear Control Arms | rear-control-arms suspension
QA1 Rear Lower Control Arms for 1993-96 GM B-Body - 5/8" Extended | All upper tubular and lower boxed trailing arms use polyurethane bushings on both ends, while upper adjustable and lower tubular trailing arms use a spherical ball or rod end assembly on the chassis end to eliminate bushing bind, allowing the suspension to move smoother for better control. This keeps the tires planted firmly on the ground for improved traction and a more predictable, better handling car. For a long-lasting finish, tubular and boxed trailing arms are powder-coated gloss black, while the adjustable arms are zinc plated and anodized. Boxed Trailing Arms are constructed from 0.120” wall cold rolled steel tubing for maximum strength and flex elimination. These trailing arms have fluted, greasable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings. Tubular Trailing Arms are constructed from 1-1/4” diameter, 0.120” wall steel tubing which offers increased strength over other designs, but also have the added advantage of lighter weight. These trailing arms have fluted, greasable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings. Heavy-Duty Adjustable Trailing Arms allow easy rear suspension adjustments for optimum handling and traction. Simply loosen the jam nuts and adjust the pinion angle without removing the arms from the vehicle. They replace soft OE differential bushings with polyurethane differential bushings, and they use a spherical ball or rod end assembly with UHMW polyethylene bushings on the chassis end to allow the rear suspension to move more freely and eliminate bushing bind. UMI 1978-1996 B-Body Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets | UMI Performance control arm relocation brackets quickly turn your factory or aftermarket rear control arms into a lift bar set-up. The relocation brackets are designed to lower the rear mount of the control arm changing the instant center point for improved traction. After product installed, you will see a great increase in traction by lowering the rearward angle of the lower control arm, allowing more force to be placed on the rear tires. Relocation brackets have two settings to allow the lower control arm to be lowered either 2″ or 3″, depending on vehicle height. Settings are placed in a correct pattern that will allow use of all OEM control arms or any aftermarket control arms (brackets do not require a longer control arm). This product is designed to work on lowered and non-lowered vehicles, please see below for additional information. Sway Bar: This product will work with the factory lower control arms but will not fit correctly with a factory style rear sway bar. To run a factory style rear sway bar with these brackets you need to purchase UMI lower control arms. The following lower control arms will allow the use of a factory style sway bar- Item #3611, 3612, 3613 and 3614. Non-Lowered Vehicles: Product installed on a factory height vehicle is designed to decrease wheel hop and tire spin. Lowering the rear of the control arm instantly plants the rear tires harder into the ground, increasing traction and reducing tire spin. Lowered Vehicles: Relocation brackets are a must for all lowered vehicles to correct lost suspension geometry. By lowering your vehicle, you are changing the lower control arm angle allowing the rear mounting point to sit higher than the front. This will, in return, cause wheel hop and a great deal of traction loss. Adding relocation brackets will correct the control arm angle prevent traction loss. Installation: Brackets are weld-in only, supplied bare metal and install in approximately 1 – 2 hours. Hardware and installation instructions are included with each kit. | Rear Control Arms | rear-control-arms suspension
UMI Performance A- and G-Body Rear Upper Control Arm Axle Bushings | UMI’s high durometer polyurethane bushings replace the factory rubber rear end housing bushings. After many years of weather and abuse the factory rubber bushings tend to dry rot, crack and harden which can lead to decreased ride quality and performance. The UMI polyurethane bushings replace the two upper control arm rear end differential bushings – the bushings that stay attached to the rear end “ears”. New rear end housing bushings are an excellent upgrade for your street driven or track used vehicle. Kit includes two bushings and two washers, the included polyurethane washers prevent the bushings from walking side to side. Made in the USA. | $49.99 | Rear Control Arms | rear-control-arms suspension
