Coilover Components

The main purpose of the Helper Spring (coilover) is to support, or help, the main spring by keeping it in contact with its spring perch when the suspension is at full droop.  We use these frequently on rear shocks when converting a car to coilovers.

These enhancement springs are for high-performance, aftermarket suspensions used in Motorsports, street performance and off-road applications. Hyperco helper springs feature a flat wire design allowing for a compact solid height and more useable deflection to help optimize your total vehicle performance package. The springs are manufactured from high-tensile chrome silicone and finished with a dark blue powdercoat.

Sold as a pair of springs.

QA1 offers bolt-in Rear Coil-Over Conversion brackets for 1977-1996 GM B-Bodies. These brackets are adjustable to give different ride heights, and include brackets that bolt up to your rear axle as well as brackets that bolt to the rear crossmember to hold the top of the shock.

Coil over shocks sold separately.

This system will fit B-Body wagons of the same vintage, but the rear crossmember will need a small amount of clearancing.
