1967-1972 CHEVY C10 CROSSMEMBER

Fits Models: C10 2WD. This crossmember will not work on 4WD vehicles.

As a direct replacement most transmission applications are a direct bolt into the factory crossmember holes on the lower frame rail.

This crossmember is a stock replacement and LS swap crossmember designed to allow a dual exhaust system to be routed under the crossmember, allowing ease of header connection, while keeping the exhaust above the frame rails.

It’s great for stock chassis and lowered trucks alike.

The unique design of this crossmember accommodates large heavy duty transmissions such as a 4L80E with slight modifications, or by repositioning and drilling additional mounting holes.

Models: Malibu, Monte Carlo, El Camino, Cutlass, Grand Prix, Regal

Fits the following transmissions: 700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, Tremec TKX, TKO-500, TKO-600.

Newly designed and manufactured by G Force Performance to be lighter weight for improved performance and still maintain the same quality as the original RCG-700 Crossmember.

Finished in a black powder coat. Includes new mounting hardware. Purchase transmission mount separately.

Notes:

• On some installations, it is necessary to remove the catalytic converter heat shield from the passenger side floor pan.
• This generation of vehicle is prone to body bushing compression, even with some southern vehicles. If the floor pan is too close to allow installation, it may be necessary to replace the body bushings. Some customers have reported that with slight interference instances, they have been able to gently lift the floor pan with the assist of a floor jack and a wood cushion, thus providing the required clearance for installation.
• The crossmember is installed so that the exhaust clearance humps are closed on the top and open on the bottom.
