Our integrated clutch and brake pedal assembly is the key to getting a manual transmission up and running in your 1978 – 1988 GM G-Body.  If you’re looking for our Boxy B-Body pedals click here.

Out of stock – Reserve your pedals with a $100 deposit.  Pedals are expected to ship by December 2023.  In the meantime we are taking $100 deposits on pedals, and once our delivery date firms up, we will request the remaining amount due two weeks prior to delivery.

We’re big on ergonomics – the pedals are right where your feet are expecting them, and the brake pedal location is optimized for heel-and-toe downshifting.  After driving a 1996 Chevy Impala SS with our 6 speed manual conversion package, AutoWeek Magazine wrote:

Our pedal assembly is a direct replacement for your stock brake pedal and is compatible with all hydraulic clutch systems as well as all transmissions that use a hydraulic setup.

Each pedal assembly comes fully assembled and ready to install and includes:

  • Billet aluminum mounting bracket, black anodized
  • Chromoly steel brake pedal arm
  • Chromoly steel clutch pedal arm
  • Rubber pedal covers for brake and clutch pedals, OEM 2010 – 2015 Chevy Camaro
  • Heavy duty Oilite flanged bushings for each pedal arm
  • Oilite sleeves at all points where shoulder bolts pass through aluminum
  • Acetal Resin spacers for quiet, smooth, no-rock pedal arm operation
  • Steel shoulder bolts, Grade 8 strength
  • Rubber firewall seal and stainless steel hardware
  • Firewall drilling template
  • Pedal installation hardware: Class 10.9 / Grade 8 strength or stronger

Clutch and brake pedals are spaced apart just under 5″ center-to-center, same as the current Chevy Camaro. Your factory brake master cylinder pushrod hooks up to our brake pedal arm in the exact same location as stock.  We offer compatibility with both power and manual brakes.

Our clutch pedal is designed for hydraulic clutch systems and is compatible with just about any manual transmission.  Whether you’re running the stock engine or an LS engine our pedals will work great. We use the Tilton 78-Series master cylinders, available in seven different bore sizes.  Contact us for help in selecting the perfect match for your setup.

Our pedal assembly includes two electrical sensor brackets (brake lights and neutral safety switch).  If you have cruise control, we offer additional sensor brackets to add two cruise control interrupt switches, one on each pedal arm.  Our sensor brackets are designed for use with OEM GM switches, which we offer separately if not already wired up in your car.  Additional details on compatible sensors:

  1. Brake lights – bracket included with our pedals, reuse stock wiring
  2. Neutral safety switch, preventing the car from starting unless the clutch pedal is depressed – bracket included with our pedals, sensor and wiring harness sold separately
  3. Cruise control interrupt, based on brake pedal application – optional bracket, reuse stock wiring
  4. Cruise control interrupt, based on clutch pedal application – optional bracket, sensor, and wiring harness

To install our pedals you’ll need to drill several holes in your firewall (7/64″ and 7/8″), and we include a cutting template to make marking the hole centers as easy as possible.

Mechanical clutch release setups are not compatible with our pedals.

Every effort has been put forth to incorporate OEM design elements regarding the layout, face styling and indicators. A casual glance may dismiss these as original equipment, but once you hit the switch and the LED backlighting comes on in your favorite color scheme, all doubts will be removed.

Starting from scratch, CNC machined housings are filled with electronics designed and built in-house, helping Dakota Digital once again raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation. This all aluminum radiator is custom made for installing an LS Engine in a 1968 – 1977 GM A-Body (Chevy Chevelle), 1970-1981 F-Body (Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am), 1978 – 1988 GM G-Body (Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix) and 1971 – 1974 Chevy Bel Air.

This radiator and fan combo is ready to go, including aluminum fan shroud, two Spal electric fans, and a transmission cooler circuit

The core size is 28″ wide x 19″ tall x 2.68″ thick.  With the fans, the overall thickness is 6.4″.  Overall width is 33.25″.

To help with LS installation, the inlet and outlet are sized to match the LS engine at 1.25″ and 1.5″.  Trans cooler circuits are 1/4″ NPT.

Griffin’s oversized cores give you plenty of cooling with only 2 rows.  This radiator can handle 1,000 HP.

KDS brackets locate the LS engine at the “stock” SBC location, ie, the new LS engine does not require any relocation of the transmission. This has several advantages:

Reuse your existing transmission
On 4WD trucks, you don’t need to move your trans, transfer case, or modify 2 (!!) driveshafts.
You can reuse the stock fan shroud and still run an LS mechanical fan with no fitment issues.
Maintain the stock driveline angles. No chasing driveline vibrations because of odd driveline angles from poor motor mount bracket design.
Instead of using adapter plates, KDS motor mount brackets incorporate the clamshell mounting features into the bracket.

Designed in conjunction with a leading Sprint Cup chassis engineer, these springs are the best in the business. Our front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 600 lb/in rate. The rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 130 lb/in rate. The linear rate provides consistent handling characteristics which are important for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications while the increase in stiffness reduces body roll and prevents the “floating” feeling so common with the G-body. These springs are suitable for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications as well as corner carving/cruising. The ride height is engineered for a 1” lowering with standard SBC as well as LS power (lightened cars may require spring trimming). Wilwood GM D52 calipers are 2-piston, direct bolt-on replacements for the factory original single calipers on many 1968-96 GM passenger vehicles and trucks.
