BMR 3rd Gen F-Body T56 Torque Arm Relo Crossmember - Black | The OE torque arm mounts to the tailshaft housing of the transmission. For factory horsepower levels and average street driving this works fine, but drag racing combined with more power equals broken tailshaft housings. BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmembers allow you to take the torque arm mount off the transmission and onto the crossmember, eliminating the chance of breakage and firming up the mounting point. Additionally, these crossmembers allow the user to fine tune the launch characteristics of the car by offering multiple mounting points for “instant center” height adjustments. Driveline Components Quick Ratio TKX Shifter - '82-'92 Camaro | This shifter fits the TKX transmission and offers a very direct feel and short throws. The shifter puts puts the shift lever in the same location as the floor console auto shifter for 1982 – 1992 GM F-Body cars:
If you want the shift lever to line up with the original manual transmission shift lever location as found in ’78 – ’83 factory manual G-Body cars we offer a different shifter – click here. This shifter mounts to the same location as the stock TKX shifter. Shift lever not included. This uses a common two-bolt mount, with 7/8″ spacing between the bolts.
