Griffin Radiator

This all aluminum radiator is custom made for installing an LS Engine in a 1968 – 1977 GM A-Body (Chevy Chevelle), 1970-1981 F-Body (Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am), 1978 – 1988 GM G-Body (Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix) and 1971 – 1974 Chevy Bel Air.

This radiator and fan combo is ready to go, including aluminum fan shroud, two Spal electric fans, and a transmission cooler circuit

The core size is 28″ wide x 19″ tall x 2.68″ thick.  With the fans, the overall thickness is 6.4″.  Overall width is 33.25″.

To help with LS installation, the inlet and outlet are sized to match the LS engine at 1.25″ and 1.5″.  Trans cooler circuits are 1/4″ NPT.

Griffin’s oversized cores give you plenty of cooling with only 2 rows.  This radiator can handle 1,000 HP.

The core size is 26.5″ wide, and the overall width is 34″.  With the fans, the overall thickness is 6.4″.

To help with LS installation, the inlet and outlet are sized to match the LS engine.

Our custom intercooler for 1991 – 1996 GM B-Bodies, including the Chevrolet Impala SS, is just the ticket for liquid-to-air forced induction cooling for supercharged or turbocharged setups.  Griffin Radiator fabricates these intercoolers to our specification.

We designed and installed this piece in a ’96 Impala with an LSA crate engine.  See photos for details.

This version uses -10AN (5/8″) hoses.  We also offer a version with -12AN (3/4″) hoses – click here.

Installation notes:

• Core is 20″ x 10″ and is 3″ thick
• Liquid fittings are -10AN male
• Four mounting bosses with M8x1.0mm threads
• The intercooler / heat exchanger is designed to mount in front of the stock radiator and AC condenser.  Mounting brackets will have to be fabricated and are not included.  We fabricated a lower support attached to the bottom of the core support, and an upper support for each side that ties into the headlight mount.
• Fits sedan and wagon, 1991 – 1996 model years
